I bought this myself. Not sponsored.
I bought the Noir puff blouse in black first, liked it enough that I went back for the leotard in beige, and that one has quietly become the piece I wear most.
The colour

Beige with all the yellow pulled out of it.
That’s the distinction that matters. Most beiges go slightly warm and end up looking sallow next to skin. This one doesn’t — it stays clean and cool.
I’ve tried to photograph it accurately several times and I’m still not sure I’ve managed it. The filtered shot is the one closest to real life, which is an odd sentence to write in a review, but there it is.
Sizing

- Black blouse: M
- Beige leotard: S
And here’s the useful part: the difference between the two sizes didn’t feel large. The S was comfortable.
Either their sizing runs generous, or I’d lost weight. Possibly both. But if you’re between sizes with this brand, I’d size down rather than up.
How it wears

This is the important bit.
I own prettier leotards. I own more expensive ones. This is the one that goes in my bag every week.
The comfort difference between this and the more decorative pieces is not subtle. When a leotard is comfortable you stop thinking about it, and then you can think about your plié instead.
The skirt

I bought the matching skirt with it.
Something I didn’t know when I was starting: plenty of people just wear the leotard on its own. And ballet skirts come in every colour imaginable, so you can pair to taste rather than buying as a set.
These days I wear this leotard with La Belle Blanc’s Noir de-pattern skirt.
Wearing it outside class

Like several of these pieces, it works as ordinary clothing. I’ve worn it as a bodysuit under things more than once.
Verdict
Not the leotard that makes people ask where you got it. The one you’ll own in three years.
If you’re buying two things from La Belle Blanc, make this one of them.
