I bought this myself. Not sponsored.
Another one from JENNY BALLET, bought last year, and one I keep coming back to.

Choosing white

I went back and forth between this and their Diana.
It was summer, and white simply looked cooler. That was the entire deliberation.
The back

The back is the reason to buy this leotard.
JENNY BALLET say it’s drawn from the Empire dress silhouette — that high-waisted, early-nineteenth-century line — and you can see it. The way the seams sit across the shoulder blades is genuinely lovely and completely unlike a standard leotard back.
Which, incidentally, is the part of you the rest of the class looks at for an hour. Worth considering.
Buy the skirt with it

I bought the matching Joséphine skirt too, and honestly the set is where this piece works best.
There’s a shorter version as well, which I suspect would be beautiful. I haven’t tried it.
Wearing it outside the studio

This is the part I want to flag for anyone building a wardrobe.
It reads as ordinary clothing.
On days I wear the Joséphine, I put a long white skirt over it and go out afterwards. Nobody has ever registered it as dancewear. For adult students going to class straight from work — or straight to somewhere else afterwards — that matters more than it sounds.
Fit notes

Size M, true to size for me. Same as the Odile in their line, so JENNY BALLET’s sizing is consistent across styles — useful if you’re ordering from overseas and can’t try things on.
Verdict
If you own one JENNY BALLET piece, make it a coloured one for repertoire class. If you own two, make the second this.
It’s the one that leaves the studio with you.
