I bought this myself. Not sponsored.
If you’ve looked for Korean ballet brands in English, you’ll know there’s almost nothing out there. So I’m going to start writing them up properly — the fit, the fabric, the packaging, all of it.
First up: JENNY BALLET, and their Odile leotard, version 2.
I bought it to wear to Esmeralda repertoire class.
The details

| Brand | JENNY BALLET (제니발레) |
| Style | Odile, ver.2 |
| Colour | Black |
| Size | S |
| Price | ₩58,000 |
Packaging

I’ve ordered from JENNY BALLET before, so I knew what to expect — everything arrives carefully wrapped.
That matters more than it sounds for black fabric. Black picks up every speck of dust, and this arrived clean. Someone had clearly checked it before it went in the box.
The design

The shape is genuinely lovely, and black is impossible to photograph well, which is the frustrating part of writing this review.
Here’s the detail that got me. There’s gold pearl worked into the mesh — you don’t see it in the product photos. In person it catches the light like starlight on a dark lake.
Not moonlight. Starlight. There’s a difference and I will die on this hill.
The front detailing reads like black swan feathers, each piece layered over the next. Combined with the gold pearl, the whole thing looks like water at night.
I like things that sparkle. This may have clouded my judgement. I’m at peace with that.
Care and returns

I didn’t read the returns policy, because I was never going to return it.
Washing is the important part: hand wash only, officially. My machine has a delicates cycle and I use that after class instead. Three years and several JENNY BALLET leotards later, nothing has gone wrong — but that’s my risk to take, not a recommendation.
If your machine doesn’t have a proper delicates setting, hand wash it.
How it looks on

This is what I’d wear if I ever get to do Black Swan repertoire.
The cut does that thing where it looks like you’ve lost three kilos. I’m not going to pretend that isn’t part of why I bought it.
The second styling is what I actually wore to Esmeralda class.
Would I buy it again
Yes — and I already have, in other styles.
If you’re outside Korea and looking at JENNY BALLET, the sizing runs true for me at S. The black is worth it in person in a way the photos can’t show you, which is a strange thing to write in a review, but there it is.
When you’re bored of training, buy equipment. That’s the rule.
