The colour

It’s a strange violet — not quite purple, not quite mauve, shifting depending on the light.
I bought it thinking it would be right for Aurora repertoire, and I still think that. It has the softness that role wants without being pink.
For reference: I’m a light summer cool tone, and it suits me well. If you’re warm-toned I’d want to see it in person first.
The thing nobody tells you about the top

The top has a semicircular scoop on one side and a straight edge on the other.
Which one is the front?
I have genuinely no idea. I have spent real time thinking about this. I now put it on whichever way it goes on.
Here’s what I’ve worked out from wearing it both ways:
Scoop to the front — it’s deeper than you expect. During barre it rides upwards and you’ll be adjusting it. I don’t wear it this way to class any more.
Scoop to the back — more secure, and honestly the better line. This is the way I wear it now, and it’s my favourite of the two.
For everyday wear, though, I put the scoop at the front. Outside a studio there’s no barre work to fight it, and it looks lovely.
So: two garments in one, depending on which way you spin it. I’m choosing to see that as value.
The skirt

The skirt line does good things for leg length. That’s most of why I keep reaching for it.
Verdict

One size, so there’s no sizing decision to agonise over — which for a Korean brand ordering from abroad is a genuine advantage.
Buy it for the colour. Wear the top with the scoop at the back for class. Front for the street.
